FAN STORY: "We proudly wear the Valencia CF shirt and colours" 

Valencia CF had a pleasant and emotional meeting with Valencia CF fans in Mexico. Among them, the family of the VCF Academy of Houston stood out. An academy that represents that Sentiment, Valentia i Germanor to perfection.

"We have the Valencia CF branch in Houston, and, at the same time, we are now coming to Mexico to enjoy the match against the Mexican national team. We are very happy; my husband Mauricio is coming with the mascot AMUNT. We are very excited, the whole family is here and we always support Valencia CF at all times," said Karla Uresti from the VCF Academy in Houston.

The family enjoyed some very special moments with Valencia CF players Pepelu, André Almeida, Thierry Rendall and Hugo Guillamón; and with Club legend and ambassador Vicente Rodríguez.

It was something special. The moment we saw the post of the match on Instagram, we didn't think twice about making all our plans and coming here. It has been special the welcome we always get. When we go to Valencia for the VCF Academy World Cup, they welcome us like a big family and, likewise, here we feel part of the Valencia CF family,’ said VCF Academy Houston director Mauricio Mata.

MORE THAN 150 PLAYERS IN KATY (TEXAS)

Currently, it has more than 150 players between the U-7 and U-17 categories, obtaining great results such as the Championship of the category 2013 and 2015 in the Memorial Cup.

CELEBRATION OF PASSION FOR VALENCIA CF

At the VCF Academy in Houston they celebrate the passion for Valencia CF every May 31st, which since 2012 has been designated as Valencia CF Day in Houston, but above all they celebrate it, show it off and share it every day.

"We have always been very close to the Club and followed it very closely. It's something we hold very close to our hearts. Our children proudly wear the Valencia CF shirt and colours. At home, it's Valencia CF all the time," explained Karla Uresti.

III VCF ACADEMY WORLD CUP

The Houston VCF Academy -one of the four Valencia CF Academies in the USA along with New York, Chicago and Seattle- was present at the III VCF Academy World Cup, in which they participated in the first two editions.
